Smugglers Crate Mystery Boxes, Deals and Guide
Finding a gift for a dedicated Star Wars fan can be surprisingly difficult. Collectors may already own the most familiar figures, books and merchandise, while casual fans may not know which items to choose. A curated mystery box turns that challenge into part of the experience.
Smugglers Crate offers fandom-themed mystery boxes filled with figures, artwork, accessories and other collectibles. Its main collection focuses on Star Wars, but customers can also explore boxes inspired by Marvel, Pokémon, Harry Potter, anime, manga and general geek culture.
Current promotions include 30% off a first box, up to 50% savings against recommended retail prices and an extra 10% discount for email subscribers.

What Is Smugglers Crate?
Smugglers Crate is a UK-based subscription and gifting service for pop-culture fans. Customers select a crate level, and the company curates a surprise assortment based on the chosen fandom and product tier.
Boxes can be purchased as one-off gifts or through flexible subscription plans. Depending on the available option, subscriptions may be delivered monthly, every two months or quarterly.
The brand says it sources officially licensed and exclusive items from selected partners. A typical crate may include collectible figures, artwork, keyrings, stationery, apparel, cups or other themed accessories.
The mystery element is central to the product. Buyers choose the fandom and crate level but do not normally select every item inside. This makes the unboxing experience more exciting, although it also means that a customer cannot guarantee receiving a particular character or product.

Jedi Knight Crate
The Jedi Knight Crate is the most affordable standard Star Wars option. Prices are displayed from approximately £26.95 to £34.95, depending on whether the box is purchased through a subscription or as a one-off order.
This crate generally includes five to seven Star Wars items and a guaranteed figure. It may be a good starting point for someone who wants to try the service without choosing a more expensive collection.
The Jedi Knight tier works particularly well as a birthday gift, seasonal surprise or introduction to collecting. Its smaller item count also makes it more suitable for casual fans who enjoy Star Wars but do not need a large box every month.
Customers should still consider whether the recipient likes mystery products. Someone searching for one specific figure may prefer buying that item directly instead of receiving a curated assortment.
Jedi Master Crate
The Jedi Master Crate is described as the brand’s most popular Star Wars box. It costs approximately £32.95 to £44.95 and usually contains eight to twelve curated products, including a guaranteed premium figure.
This tier offers a middle ground between affordability and variety. It provides more items than the Jedi Knight box without reaching the higher price of the Collector’s Edition.
The Jedi Master Crate may suit established fans who enjoy figures, display pieces and practical accessories. It can also make an appealing gift when the buyer knows the recipient loves Star Wars but is unsure which individual product to select.
As with every mystery box, the exact value depends partly on personal preference. A collector may place greater value on one premium figure than several smaller accessories, while another customer may prefer a wider assortment.
Collector’s Edition Crate
The Collector’s Edition is designed for customers who want a more substantial unboxing experience. It is priced from approximately £59.95 to £79.95.
According to Smugglers Crate, this box includes twelve to fifteen premium items, two figures and exclusive memorabilia. The larger selection can provide more opportunities to discover new characters, products and collectible formats.
This tier may be most suitable for committed Star Wars fans, display collectors or gift buyers celebrating a special occasion. It can also work as a shared family box if several people enjoy the same fandom.
Before choosing the Collector’s Edition as a recurring subscription, consider available storage and the possibility of duplicates. Customers who already own a large collection may have a greater chance of receiving an item they possess.
Ultra Crate
The Ultra Crate is the largest standard option, with prices ranging from approximately £109.95 to £149.95. It is promoted as containing more than twenty items, including at least five collectible figures and a T-shirt.
This crate is intended for enthusiasts who want a high-volume delivery rather than a small monthly surprise. It may be a memorable gift for a major birthday, holiday or collector milestone.
The included T-shirt makes accurate sizing important. Customers should confirm whether a size can be selected and whether it can be changed before future subscription renewals.
The Ultra Crate also requires more storage and a significantly larger budget than the other tiers. For first-time customers, trying a Jedi Knight or Jedi Master box may be the more practical way to evaluate the product quality and curation style.
Other Fandom Mystery Boxes
Although Star Wars is the main focus, Smugglers Crate also offers boxes based on other popular entertainment categories.
Available collections may include:
- Anime and manga
- Marvel
- Pokémon
- Harry Potter
- General geek and pop-culture merchandise
These options can be useful when buying gifts for someone whose interests extend beyond a single franchise. However, product availability and box formats may vary between fandoms.
Review the individual listing to confirm the expected number of items, price, delivery schedule and whether the purchase is a one-off box or recurring subscription.
One-Off Box or Subscription?
A one-off crate is the safer option for gift buyers and first-time customers. It provides the complete mystery-box experience without creating a recurring payment.
A subscription may offer a lower price per box and regular deliveries. It is better suited to collectors who enjoy receiving new merchandise and have enough space for an expanding collection.
Smugglers Crate states that subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Customers should cancel through their subscription account before the next billing date if they do not want another box.
Check whether cancellation stops a future renewal or affects an order that has already been processed. It is also helpful to save the confirmation email after making any subscription change.
Shipping Times and Delivery
The first box is generally dispatched within one to three working days. UK and US deliveries usually arrive within one to three working days after dispatch, while international orders typically take five to ten working days.
These estimates can vary because of stock, carrier delays, customs processing and seasonal demand.
Free shipping is advertised for eligible UK orders. Customers outside the UK should enter their address at checkout to view the delivery fee and any applicable taxes or import charges.
If a box is being sent as a gift, order early enough to allow for dispatch and potential delivery delays.
What Happens If There Is a Problem?
Smugglers Crate asks customers to contact its support team when a box arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect. Depending on the circumstances, the company may offer a replacement or refund to the original payment method.
Photograph the shipping box, label and damaged items before discarding any packaging. Clear images can help customer service understand and resolve the problem.
Because the product is a mystery box, simply disliking a character or item may not qualify as a fault. Review the refund policy before buying, particularly for one-off gift crates and international orders.
Who Will Enjoy Smugglers Crate?
The service is best suited to:
- Star Wars fans who enjoy surprises
- Collectors open to discovering unfamiliar merchandise
- Gift buyers unsure which individual item to choose
- Families who enjoy unboxing products together
- Fans of Marvel, Pokémon, Harry Potter or anime
- Customers who value figures and display collectibles
It may be less suitable for people who collect only one character, dislike duplicate items or prefer to know exactly what they are buying.
How to Get the Best Discount
Visit Smugglers Crate through the affiliate link and select the preferred fandom and crate level.
New customers should check whether the 30% first-box Summer Sale is still active. This is stronger than the standard 10% offer.
You can also sign up for the email list to receive an extra 10% discount. If promotions cannot be combined, compare each eligible code and choose the lowest final price.
Review the one-off and subscription totals carefully. A lower introductory price may change at the next renewal, so note the regular billing amount and frequency.
Final Thoughts
Smugglers Crate offers a fun way to discover Star Wars and pop-culture collectibles without selecting every item individually.
The Jedi Knight tier is an affordable introduction, while Jedi Master offers greater variety at a moderate price. The Collector’s Edition suits more committed fans, and the Ultra Crate delivers the largest unboxing experience.
Choose a one-off box when buying a gift or trying the service for the first time. Consider a subscription only when you understand the renewal price and delivery frequency.
With 30% off a first box and potential savings of up to 50% against RRP, the current promotion provides a strong opportunity to explore Smugglers Crate.
