Davincified Review: Buy 2, Get 1 Free

Painting can be an enjoyable way to relax, express creativity and make decorative art for the home. However, starting with a blank canvas can feel intimidating, especially for someone who has never studied drawing, colour mixing or composition.

Davincified makes the process more approachable with premium paint-by-numbers kits for beginners and experienced hobbyists. Each design divides the image into numbered sections, showing the painter where to apply each colour.

The collection includes landscapes, florals, famous works of art, seasonal scenes and personalised kits made from customers’ photographs. During the current promotion, customers can buy two kits and receive a third one free, with potential savings of up to 50%. Free shipping is also available on qualifying orders over $100.

What Is Davincified?

Davincified is an online art and crafts store specialising in paint-by-numbers kits for adults and creative beginners. Its goal is to make painting accessible to people who want to create attractive artwork without requiring advanced artistic experience.

Instead of deciding where every colour and detail should go, users follow the printed numbers on the canvas. This provides structure while still allowing the painter to enjoy the process of building the image one section at a time.

Davincified offers thousands of designs across themes such as flowers, beaches, seascapes, forests, autumn landscapes, cats, vintage art, city scenes and religious artwork.

The store also features collections inspired by recognised artists, including Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Gustav Klimt, Leonardo da Vinci, Alphonse Mucha and William Morris.

How Does Paint by Numbers Work?

A paint-by-numbers canvas is divided into many outlined areas. Each area contains a number corresponding to a particular paint colour.

The basic process is straightforward:

Place the canvas on a flat, well-lit working surface.
Organise the numbered paint pots and brushes.
Match each section of the canvas with the corresponding colour.
Paint one area or colour group at a time.
Allow completed sections to dry before working nearby.
Add another layer where greater colour coverage is needed.
Frame or display the artwork after it has dried completely.

Beginners may prefer to start with larger sections and lighter colours. Smaller details can be completed later with a fine brush.

Although the numbering provides guidance, customers can still personalise the finished result through paint thickness, blending and additional details.

Custom Paint by Numbers Kits

A custom paint-by-numbers kit transforms a personal photograph into a paintable canvas. Customers upload an image, and the design is converted into numbered sections with a matching set of colours.

Custom kits are currently priced from approximately $39.90, depending on the selected size and options.

They can be created from:

Family portraits
Wedding or anniversary photographs
Pet pictures
Holiday memories
Landscapes and travel photographs
Meaningful homes or locations
Personal artwork

The quality of the original image can significantly affect the final design. Choose a clear, high-resolution photograph with good lighting and a well-defined subject.

Avoid images with very small faces, excessive background clutter or heavy shadows. A simple composition can translate more effectively into numbered painting sections.

A custom Davincified kit may also make a thoughtful personalised gift. Instead of giving only a printed photograph, you are providing both a creative activity and a finished keepsake.

Famous Artist Paint by Numbers Kits

Davincified offers classic works and artist-inspired images adapted for the paint-by-numbers format. These designs let art lovers recreate well-known styles while following a structured painting process.

Available artist collections include:

Vincent van Gogh
Claude Monet
Gustav Klimt
Leonardo da Vinci
Alphonse Mucha
Katsushika Hokusai
William Morris
Johannes Vermeer
Wassily Kandinsky
Frida Kahlo

These kits may appeal to customers who already have a favourite artistic movement or want artwork that complements their home décor.

Impressionist landscapes can introduce soft colour and light, while Art Nouveau designs may suit interiors featuring decorative patterns. Van Gogh-inspired pieces can add bold colour and movement to a room.

Because these images may contain more intricate sections, check the design complexity before choosing a kit for a complete beginner.

Nature, Floral and Landscape Kits

Nature designs are among the most versatile choices for both painters and home decoration. Davincified offers beaches, seascapes, lakes, forests, cherry blossoms, sunflowers, roses, peonies, hydrangeas and Mediterranean-inspired views.

Popular designs currently include Hydrangea Harmony, Sunset Ocean Waves, Santorini Dream and Blue Iris and Porcelain. Standard kits are commonly priced from approximately $29.90.

Landscape and floral designs can be calming to paint because they often include repeated colour families and organic shapes. They are also easier to display in different rooms than highly personal or seasonal subjects.

Consider the intended location before selecting a design. Soft botanical colours may work well in a bedroom, while bright coastal artwork can refresh a living room or home office.

Davincified Mini Kits

Mini paint-by-numbers kits offer a smaller, faster project for customers who may not be ready to commit to a large canvas.

Their compact format makes them useful for:

Trying paint by numbers for the first time
Completing a project over a weekend
Creative breaks between larger paintings
Gifts and stocking fillers
Small wall displays
Older children working with adult supervision
Group painting activities

A mini kit can help a beginner learn how much paint to load onto a brush, how to cover printed lines and how to work through numbered sections before attempting a more detailed piece.

Benefits of Paint by Numbers

Paint by numbers is popular because it combines creativity with clear instructions. Users do not have to plan the entire composition, yet they still complete the physical painting themselves.

Potential benefits include:

Providing a relaxing screen-free activity
Encouraging concentration and patience
Making painting more approachable for beginners
Supporting hand-eye coordination
Creating a sense of progress and accomplishment
Producing personalised wall décor
Offering an activity for quiet evenings or weekends

Painting should be approached as a leisure activity rather than a medical treatment. Its greatest value is often the simple opportunity to slow down and focus on one creative task.

How to Choose the Right Davincified Kit

Start by selecting a subject that genuinely interests you. A painting may take several sessions to complete, so an image you enjoy will make the process more rewarding.

Next, consider the level of detail. Designs with large, clearly separated sections are usually more comfortable for beginners. Images containing many small shapes and subtle colour changes may require more patience.

Also consider:

The available workspace
The desired finished canvas size
Whether the artwork will be framed
The room where it will be displayed
How much time you want to spend painting
Whether the kit is intended as a gift
Whether a custom photograph is clear enough

Reading the product description before ordering can help you understand the included materials and available canvas options.

Tips for a Better Painting Experience

Work in good natural light or use a bright desk lamp so that small numbers remain easy to see. Keep a cup of clean water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.

Close each paint pot after use to prevent the paint from drying. If a colour provides insufficient coverage, allow the first layer to dry and apply a second thin coat.

Painting one colour at a time can make the process efficient, while working from the top of the canvas down may reduce accidental smudging.

Most importantly, take your time. Paint by numbers is not a race, and the gradual transformation of the canvas is part of the experience.
